What will I learn?

This course has given me the confidence and information I needed to learn more about the voice and be able to apply it to a teaching environment. It is absolutely fantastic and I would recommend to anyone and everyone who wishes to develop their understanding of vocal health. I’ve learnt more about vocal anatomy and health with this course than I have at university! Thank you!

I loved all the information presented in the course, I found each video very informative and useful. I found Chris Johnson’s Assessment methods and movement series particularly helpful. I really appreciated the focus on Mental Health and Wellbeing and overall systemic health and the ways in which these are intrinsically connected. Jenevora and Line’s presentations really complemented each other on this front and provided such a comprehensive approach that links in with the course content so beautifully. I also personally enjoyed learning more about how voices are assessed by specialists and found the videos from the pathology section fascinating. I also really enjoyed my assessment/interview at the end of the course, it was great to speak in person to Eimear and apply what I have learnt to the scenarios but also to reflect on the experience.

I was a little nervous going into the final assessment but found it such a kind and calm environment/process. I was pleased that I actually knew more than I thought and feel much more confident now because of that.
