March 6th – 8th, 2025 / London, UK

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
This course is for Speech and Language Therapists who wish to improve their skills in conducting endoscopic evaluation, for Otolaryngologists in training at any level, and for curious singing teachers who are eager to learn about how the voice functions through the endoscopic lens.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
Each day will have detailed anatomical and functional descriptions and illustrations. There will be numerous video examples of normal and abnormal structures and function. The afternoon of each day will be spent on practical endoscopy, learning the skills of evaluation and assessment.
SLTs will be able to use this training to contribute to their RCSLT competencies; each day has been scheduled to correspond with the relevant sections of the RCSLT competencies framework for endoscopic evaluation of the larynx.
Clinicians will also learn about singer-specific assessment; when the singer’s normal may not fit the text-book function, and how the presentations change with different musical styles. These will all be demonstrated by the singers who are present.
Voice teachers on the VRS pathway will be able to put this training towards their course units.
